Class 1 have been enjoying the Spring term.

We have been busy taking part in our Easter celebrations; we spent time decorating our bonnets during Art for our Easter bonnet parade and enjoyed exploring the variety of sensory trays during our Easter play day.

We engaged well in our Eureka science workshop; it was very exciting to take part in the different experiments and watch the eruptions.

We dressed as our favourite book characters and had a disco to celebrate World Book Day. As part of Literacy Week, we tasted food, made a caterpillar using cupcakes, explored sensory trays and completed matching activities linked to the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Our current theme is The Zoo. We have been learning the different animal names and sounds but have mostly enjoyed our Zoo role play area and listening to our all-time favourite story, Dear Zoo.

The school day continues to follow our busy class timetable including ball pool, hydrotherapy pool, PE and monthly Jo Jingles sessions.
