Class 11 have had a busy Term One as we settle into our brand new classroom. We have 10 pupils with 6 boys and 4 girls.
We are exploring how we have changed over our lives as well as how various household items have changed around us also as part of ‘Our Lifetime’ topic.
Our class story is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and we have been busy comparing how their lives differed from ours. We analysed the character’s personalities and looked at situations where we had shown similar qualities.
In art we created self- portrait collages of Oompa Loompa’s.
In Numeracy we have been learning about measure while in Literacy we have been learning about imperative’ bossy’ verbs in our instruction writing. We have been keeping an eye and ear out from them appearing during our Home Economics sessions.
As a very active class, we have continued to compete our daily mile walk and our weekly yoga sessions whilst also focusing on developing our gross motor skills and ball control during our P.E lessons.
There is so much that we are doing and hopefully our photos reflect all the hard work that goes on in Class 11 and especially the fun that is had too! Enjoy.
P.S. Keep an eye out for pictures as we take on the Willy Wonka Golden Ticket Treasure Hunt Challenge!
