This is a KS4/5 Nurture Plus class with 5 boys. We are based in one of the school mobiles and have two colourful and spacious rooms. These rooms have been specially set up to reflect nurturing environments. We have a home area with a kitchen, dining table, washing machine and tumble dryer and a living area with two sofas. There are four staff in this class who offer a warm welcome to the boys each day and provide a safe, friendly and trusting environment.

The pupils follow a full and varied timetable. They focus on functional life skills to greater develop their levels of independence with their personal needs. The boys particularly enjoy their weekly outings for recreational activities such as horse-riding and swimming where they are provided the opportunity to develop their own abilities and interests. A sensory programme is also embedded daily in our timetable with activities such as Functional Reflexology, Tac Pac and Hydrotherapy. The pupils are provided the opportunity to complete CCEA Entry Level Life Skills accreditations in areas such as:
