The pupils in class 7 have made a great start to the school year and have been working hard since their return to school in September. They have settled in well and are now familiar with our weekly and daily schedule.

To date, we have been focussing on the themes of ‘ Mighty Me’ and ‘Halloween’. The children have been learning all about what makes them special and unique. They have completed some lovely self-portraits and learned all about different types of feelings. The boys and girls have enjoyed lots of nice activities and particularly enjoy spending time to relax in our class Sensory Room. We look forward to our weekly trip to the Library where the children have the freedom to enjoy the books in whatever way they choose. The children have produced some lovely work for the forthcoming Credit Union Art Competition, so fingers crossed that we may have a few winners!

At the moment we are focussing on the area of Autumn and change. We continue to observe our natural environment and discuss all the things that tell us that this season has arrived.
