Class 8 have been busy this term learning about our planet Earth and the place in which we live. We have learned about maps, measures and distances. We listened to a video presentation on the water cycle and we realise how vital clean water is to our everyday lives. While learning about spring and the circle of life and re birth we planted some of the seed potatoes which we harvested in October and they are now growing nicely in the warm wet soil. More lovely potatoes are expected in the autumn.
We have also enjoyed taking part in seasonal and Easter activities including Easter art and play activities, Easter maths and language activities and the "Bake Off" cake competition. We hope that the lovely warm and sunny weather continues to allow us to take part in more outdoor activities next term.
