Class 9 have been working hard on their theme of Responding Responsibly. We have focused a lot on road safety and practicing this on our Daily mile walk, crossing the road safely.
We have continued to compete our weekly yoga sessions and we have started a new exercise programme for PE: 'Movement Mondays' and 'Workout Wednesdays'.
For Religion we watched an Easter Assembly and we learnt about Holy week, we made a lovely template and decorated it helping to explain all about Holy week.
We had a lovely week for Literacy week as it was all about emotions and feelings and we enjoyed reading a story together and discussing all the things that makes us happy, sad, calm etc. We continue to work hard on our daily living skills and completing all of the class jobs.
We really enjoyed celebrating St. Patricks day by having a Zoom disco with the whole school - it was great to see all the other classes having dance and a good time with us.
For horticulture we decorated our own pots, planted flower pots and learnt all about how to look after plants. We kept our pots in the potting shed in school and watered them every day and then we sent them home as Mother's day presents. We hope you all loved them as much as we did getting them ready.
There is so much that we are doing and the photos below reflect all the hard work that goes on in class 9 and especially the fun that is had too! Enjoy.
All the boys and girls in class 9 have been working so hard since returning to school after the Christmas holidays. We have missed our friends that are working from home but thanks to all the photos parents have sent in we have loved seeing them complete the same work as us. Our topic has been on 'Where in the world' and we have learnt all about Italy, France, China, America and Australia. We have been using the map to find out where we live and where we have been on holiday - we all wish we could be on holiday right now! We continue to practice our road safety during our daily mile walk, for Home Economics we have enjoyed traditional food from different places in the world. We have been working hard in all areas and cover Literacy, Numeracy, PE, Art and many other subjects. We have been continuing to work on our functional life skills every day and have made great progress.
All the boys and girls in class 9 have been enjoying our new timetable, even without all the activities that we normally would get to do in the school year we have been kept very busy.
