Spring has sprung and EYP have been busy. Come catch up with us and see what we have been doing. Our recent theme was ‘Transport’. The bus station was a hit, and we now have our very own road safety officers. 2D shape has been our focus and the boys and girls have been working hard on number correspondence. We are excited for the warmer weather to arrive and to enjoy all the fun the last term will bring.

Welcome to the Early Years Project for the academic year 2023/2024.

Our class teacher is Miss Kelly and our amazing classroom assistants are Margaret and Néimhe. EYP consists of six girls and four boys, all aged 3-4 years who are split into two groups of five. The morning group running from 9.30am – 12noon and the afternoon group running from 12.30pm-3.00pm.

The Early Years project is a fun-filled way for young pupils to learn together through play and develop their functional abilities. We aim to have a nurturing classroom where the boys and girls feel safe, secure and have a love for learning. We are provided with many opportunities to learn and play from a wide range of activities that involve indoor and outdoor play.

EYP is a child-centered and fun learning environment, and we hope you enjoy looking at our class photos that illustrate some of our daily activities.
