·         Don’t be eating too many Easter eggs – if you have any left over, get baking – Shredded wheat Easter nests/Rice Krispie or Cornflake buns will soon use them up. Use this opportunity to explore weights and measures. Weight how much chocolate you use – How many buns did you make? Send through your photos!! We want to see some more of our VTU pupils!!

John Muir

·         This one is simple – make a cup of tea, sit outside for 15-20minutes.

·         Pay attention to what you can hear, the birds, the wind, the trees, cars in the distance – similar to what we did at Shannaghmore in the giant Hammock.

PE Activities/Links:

·         Daily Mile – encourage your son/daughter to spend some time outside. In school all classes have been participating in The Daily Mile – completing a walk for up to 30mins depending on ability. All have been making progress so far.

Yoga: Complete this yoga session – try to do it a few times during the week – you won’t regret it – it's very chilled out and one you have done before in school. Get others at home to do it with you!!!
