Hi everyone,

The pupils in VTU1 are all School leavers this year. We have been focusing a lot on preparing ourselves for the transition from Lisanally to our new placements. Some of us went on a visit to the Southern Regional College in Armagh and we got to find out all about the course and we are very excited about that.

We go shopping in Lidl on Mondays to buy Mobile Deli items and then on Tuesdays we make lunch for the staff in Lisanally. We started to make creamy tomato pasta with garlic bread and it has been a favourite so far. We have been practicing our singing at our weekly Choir sessions as we have two musical festivals in April. We go to the Gym on Fridays, and we all are enjoying using a range of gym equipment while we are there.

We are looking forward to our 2 night residential at Shannaghmore and our Duke of Edinburgh Silver Expeditions which consists of 3 days walking and 2 nights camping. We have our School formal coming up too, we cant wait to get dressed up and have a great night together.
