Lisanally School Choir have once again had a very successful year while attending the Portadown Music festival, Bangor International Choral Festival and Newry Feis.

“When I Grow up from Matilda” and “Let it Go” from Frozen proved to be two extremely challenging pieces to learn, but with their hard work, dedication and the passion that only they have, they rose to the occasion and performed them beautifully.

The Senior Choir won 1st place at the Portadown Festival taking one cup, while The Boys Choir took one cup for 1st place with their renditions of “Danny Boy” and “O Holy Night”.

In Bangor, the competition was stiff and the choir achieved joint 3rd place, receiving a plaque and a certificate.
