“Thank you for the music, Lisanally!”
As a school, we take great pride in our musical learning and Lisanally pupils proved they had rhythm as we celebrated Music week. There were a variety of musical experiences each day to promote music as an important aspect of our curriculum. On Monday and Tuesday each class took part in percussion sessions.
On Wednesday each class listened to a different piece of famous Classical music and designed a mood picture to accompany it which we then proudly displayed in the Junior concourse area. On Thursday we made pompoms to use in our virtual JoJingles sessions on Friday; it was super to see Jennifer again and we had so much fun joining in the songs with our actions and our instruments.
To finish the term off in style we held our annual Easter (socially distanced) parade. All the classes went to amazing efforts as always as can be seen from the array of photos. Ms Flynn had the difficult task of picking a winner in each class as they passed. With music, laughter and lots of smiles it was a lovely to end the term.
Enjoy the photos and have a Happy Easter. Keep Safe!
