To finish the term off in style we held our annual Easter (socially distanced) parade. All the classes went to amazing efforts as always as can be seen from the array of photos. Ms Flynn had the difficult task of picking a winner in each class as they passed. With music, laughter and lots of smiles it was a lovely to end the term.

This term we received new Home Economics equipment so that everyone has a wide range of utensils and appliances for each class to make use of during their Home Economic lessons.
Healthy eating week takes place from 14th - 18th June 2021. It celebrates and promotes healthy eating, as well as food provenance, cooking and being active. We are all looking forward to this, everyone in Lisanally will be joining in by choosing healthier break options, making a healthy snack as part of their Home Economics lesson, drinking plenty of water and also by getting in more exercise.
Every class in Lisanally from EYP right up to class 13 are taking part in 'The Great Lisanally Easter Bake Off'. Classes have been split up in categories: lower primary, upper primary and secondary. Each class has given the task to decorate cupcakes, bake a cheesecake or bake any other cake and each masterpiece will be judged along with the rest of the classes in their category.
There has been a great buzz in school because of it and everyone has been getting well prepared for it.
As you can see from the end products below there are some amazing talents throughout each class.

It was a big hit across the school and the pupils engaged well in the different age appropriate activities.
