On Friday 14th May we celebrated Maths Fun Day. We did a lot of practice on our measuring skills through a variety of activities. We completed a worksheet with numbers which are significant to us; our height, date of birth, shoe size, house number and so on. Some of us used a tape measure to find out how tall we are while others lay down and drew around our bodies and then measured from head to toe. It was great fun! We measured out ingredients to make Oreo cupcakes which were delicious! Our artwork had a mathematical theme of course! We made our very own watches and did some lovely symmetry paintings. We cut out and stuck together templates to make robots. We did some emoji addition and subtraction activities also. The weather allowed us to take part in an outdoor Maths scavenger hunt. Much fun was had by all as you can see in the photos below.
